I seriously don't know where to begin about this lovely lady! Rachel has been there for me as my best friend for a few years now, and I cannot express the honor I felt when she asked me to be her maternity photographer for her 2nd baby! As she told me about her ideas for the shoot, and we started trying to think of locations, we actually had a very different spot picked out! However, thanks to some early location closures, that plan got trashed. Not wanting to miss out on the sunset light (I mean come on, how gorgeous is this light!), we hurried to find a slightly off-the-wall spot for the shoot! I am so excited about how gorgeous these portraits turned out!

I mean really, is she not a super hot momma?! And such a trooper for a moodier-look for the session! These abandoned buildings made the perfect backdrop for a darker look.

I cannot get over that sunset we were blessed with! The abandoned location wound up working so much better than I could have ever hoped!

From the gorgeous white and red to this sexy little black number, Rachel was fantastic! Her gorgeous makeup and hair was the icing on the cake, of course. I cannot imagine this shoot having gone any better! We had such perfect light from the sunset, and I cannot WAIT to meet her little girl when she shows up in March!
