It's a snow day today here in Peachtree City, Georgia. A friend alerted me to snow at around 10pm last night and I couldn't wait to run out and see if it was true. Sure enough, we had some small flurries. By the time I got warmer clothes on and brought the dog outside, it had stopped. I didn't give it much thought after that and went to bed, but when I woke up, we actually still had snow stuck to the ground (and my car)! All this snow reminds me of a trip I took back in 2013, where I visited England with my sister and brother-in-law in March and it snowed there as well. It was beautiful and magical, and I never shared the images before, but since I'm in a nostalgic mood, why not share a few with you all!
We spent one day of my two week stay at Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest National Park. It has a gorgeous homestead on the grounds, as well as the Top Gear Museum.
Isn't that fountain beautiful? I love all of the stonework there was in England, especially here. It was just perfect, idyllic even, and the snow made it even better.
Well, that's what I've got for this nostalgia post, however, keep an eye out, because I may share some of the beauty I captured during our week around Ireland.
Cheers!
