Snow Day Memories {England Photography, Beaulieu}

It's a snow day today here in Peachtree City, Georgia.  A friend alerted me to snow at around 10pm last night and I couldn't wait to run out and see if it was true.  Sure enough, we had some small flurries.  By the time I got warmer clothes on and brought the dog outside, it had stopped.  I didn't give it much thought after that and went to bed, but when I woke up, we actually still had snow stuck to the ground (and my car)!  All this snow reminds me of a trip I took back in 2013, where I visited England with my sister and brother-in-law in March and it snowed there as well.  It was beautiful and magical, and I never shared the images before, but since I'm in a nostalgic mood, why not share a few with you all!

We spent one day of my two week stay at Beaulieu, in the heart of the New Forest National Park.  It has a gorgeous homestead on the grounds, as well as the Top Gear Museum.

Isn't that fountain beautiful?  I love all of the stonework there was in England, especially here.  It was just perfect, idyllic even, and the snow made it even better.

Well, that's what I've got for this nostalgia post, however, keep an eye out, because I may share some of the beauty I captured during our week around Ireland.

Cheers!

The Janeski Family {Capturing Family Memories} | Newnan Georgia Family Photographer

I was so excited when I first started discussing a family portrait session with Amie.  I photographed her kids so long ago (I believe it was way back in 2011!) and absolutely love getting to see them!   Jim and Amie are such wonderful parents, and their little minis are so much like them!  The whole family has such amazingly fun personalities and I was honored to take this holiday mini-session of them in Newnan.  Enjoy!  ~E.

Elliot + Annalee {Love at the Villa} | East Coast Wedding Photographer| Emily Marie Photography

I have known Annalee since high school, and she always seemed like that cool laid back chick who was always chill.  Well, they always say that people's true traits come out on their wedding day, and my original assumption of her, even from that long ago, held true.

Annalee and Elliot are a very laid back couple, and compliment each other perfectly.  Their wedding day wasn't stressful, rushed, or at all hectic, and I was so glad for that!  Not only did everyone have a fabulous time, but we had plenty of time for gorgeous romantic portraits of the two of them, which I am also grateful for!

From her vintage J. Crew wedding dress, to the crown of roses she wore, Annalee was a stunning vision.  And Elliot, in his well-cut gray suit, was nothing less than the most handsome groom.  Their wedding day was full of love and light and family and friends, and I know that their lives will be, as well!

So, as their wedding gallery is soon to be released, enjoy this look further into their gorgeous wedding day at Villa Franca Estates.

Candice + Jacques {Downtown Engagement Session}

Candice & Jacques are pretty much the most fun pair of South Africans I know (then again, I don’t know that many, but I will soon!).  With their wedding blog coming soon, I wanted to share their Belmont engagement session!  I love happy couples, and it seems like I always have the best ones find me.  These two didn’t stop smiling and laughing at each other (and once in awhile at me, I’m clumsy, what can I say!), the entire session!
